I'm sure it's not news to some, but I just saw that Nishijin decided to close up shop last year.. Kind of sad!!

That’s too bad. Not that surprising though since they rarely came out with new models the past few years, and none of the ones they did make lately were big hits. They had a good run from the 70’s-90’s though! My favorite vintage pachinko brand!

But let’s face it; Heiwa, Sankyo, Takao, Daiichi, Sansei, and Fuji all make better and more unique modern machines in my opinion. Survival of the fittest…

Even Sanyo and the never ending Sea Story line is doing just fine it seems; churning out countless new models every month or two for decades now What does that say about Nishijin? Bad management probably.
