These are the 'Special Prizes' you get instead of other things that you take around the corner to a special place and trade for cash. It's how they get around the anti-gambling laws

well here they are. these wafers are very similar to what you win nowadays except modern ones have holographic stickers on them.
the contents of these are stamps from south america and are different on each side, seemingly random placement.

edit: now that i think about it i seriously doubt they are in any way connected to pachinko at all, and just some stamp collector's cases that are being sold as pachinko winnings.

It did seem odd they were stamps. Also kinda odd since normally the prizes are all identical.

The “special prizes” intended to be exchanged for cash I’ve got are coins or tiny amounts of gold.

Not the first time a seller has misrepresented an item for sale on eBay

I'm sorry if they weren't pachi related..

Does anyone know what the special prizes were like in the 70s??

They still seem weird and random enough to have been used for the exchange prizes?? I mean random late 60s stamps from another continent, I can imagine trading them for cash in a back alley in 1971!!

Maybe ask the seller about them.. Or, is there any way to contact a pachinko museum in Japan??
