ok, one last question before I go home and perform the surgery (haha)... How hard do you have to press the lever to open up the window? Is it relatively light? Or do you have to press fairly hard?

Mine will open with a firm push down, but nothing that requires a hammer... if that's what you mean.

    Actually... it opens pretty easily.

Ok, back to the original topic. The big bad Hurricane gave us lots of rain and wind, so I had plenty of time indoors to tear apart my Apollo. I took the door off, removed the lock mechanism, and layed it on it's side, and was able to get the window to open. There was nothing obstructing it... just had to lift UP and wiggle it open. I saw that the spring mechanism was slightly bent, and straightened it out, and it seems to work fine now. The spring mechanism doesn't "close" properly. The spring goes down to open, but doesn't flip back up to close. I have to sorta just tap the lever in the back and the mechanism will close properly. I got it nice and clean, and even did a slight nail adjustment. I'm very happy now. Thanks again everyone for your help.

Thanks Tony Jr. and also, big thanks to John and logicprobe for the help and pics. My dad has a Twilight Zone Pinball Machine that we worked on together a few years ago, so I'm not hesitant to jump right in, once I have a little knowledge. I hope to own a few more pachinkos in the near future.

Shift, if you're anything at all like the rest of us here, one machine will never do. They just seem to multiply, with a little help from you, of course.

I started with one Pachislo a while back, then added another. Then in May of this year I got a King Camel, and since then I've added nine Pachislos and two Pachinkos, a Fever Big Powerful and a PumpKing, both from Arby!

    All are awesome machines!
