    Default First Pachinko

    Good afternoon!

Just joined the sub after I picked up my first machine this weekend. I've searched name and manufacturer without much luck on the forums and Google. I currently do not have the key to open it up.

    Any info is appreciated!

machine pictured has slighly different playing field graphics. as yours is the 1/158.7 odds version. Probably better for home use.

copy of the guide book worth downloading.

I have loads of keys. But postage to the US is a bit pricey

Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you DC

Appreciate the offer on key, I am going to contact the gentleman I purchased from to see if he has it and may reach back out if he doesn't have it.

Thanks for the warm welcome and info folks!

I'm looking to unplug some of the speakers as I've found I'm already on the lowest volume setting. There's 4 speakers on my machine so it seems 2 would suffice for home use.

I could use some help identifying the plugs for the speakers as I have no experience with soldering. The volume knob tutorial is very tempting and may be a project for another time after I practice a bit

Bonus points for any other info about the back of the machine. I'm almost having as much fun learning as I am playing

Cheers and happy Friday to you all

Standard Sankyo 3 position volume switch

Loud - Louder - Help My Ears are bleeding.

One tip is to just open the glass section. not the whole front. and some material over the speakers to deaden the sound. Like a pair of socks

    Pic3 Coloured data counter connections,
Pic5 shows a standard by pass dongle with the exposed pins/components. Advise upgrading it for a daverob smart dongle. plenty of info on the site.

    Thank you (again) DC!

Love the sock idea, unfortunately my speakers are mounted in the door/glass section that swings out. Rather than mounted to the frame/cell behind the door.

Removing the speakers doesn't look to terrible but may involve removing the glass. How fragile is the glass and any tips for when removing?

Regarding the coloured data counter connections, does flipping them up/down do or hurt anything? Is this also where I would connect a data counter? I noticed the red plug near them at bottom of the pic

10-4 on Daverob dongle, I was concerned about the components being exposed.

Glass is 2 layers bonded to a plastic ring. Although not sealed like a double glazed unit. Should just unclip.

Standard tips for glass. Take it slow, don't use to much force. Don't pry with metal tools. Have somewhere ready to put it down. Preferably on a cloth to avoid scratches.

Data counter connectos are just like speaker connectors on the back of a stereo. Although these ones are staggered to help connecting.

Red plug. Not sure. I think it's to test to see if the board software has been tampered with
