Top Gun Quarters/Tokens

Could anyone please clarify as I'm a little confused on this subject:

If a Top Gun machine takes USD quarters can common tokens also be used in that machine without any further modification?

I'm in Canada so I'm concerned about getting stuck with a machine that takes only USD quarters.

Depends if the token acceptor/hopper were replaced. Otherwise. Might just be adjusting the guides (if any)

Thanks Drunkenclam. The price + exchange rate + travel costs + possible new coin acceptor all make it a little too expensive for me. I appreciate your input. I also learned quite a bit while reading the "Similar Threads" linked to this topic.

I don't know the exact difference in size. so I don't know if its been packed out with card, or had bits cut off.

If it has a comparator coin mechanism you can use anything you like in it.
