Not sure. But theory would say a SAD light should be the same frequency. But I'm sure the web is awash with retrobright tips.

For what it's worth, I made a UV lightbox using a shoebox and the light board from a gel nail polish UV dryer.

I picked up the dryer at Goodwill for a couple of bucks. Took it apart and removed the lighting board and attached to the lid of a shoebox.

It works fairly well, but does take longer to turn the yellowed plastic to white vs. putting in the sunlight.

What type of UV light it is? I don't know, but it does work.

    Default UV light

I’m having the same issue past few days; tomorrow will be sunny though!!

As a science experiment, tonight I figure I will see what my son’s 100 watt LED blacklight will do with a yellowed part with Retrobright. Will check it in a few hours and see if it’s comparable to the sun’s effects!

    It’s a very strong blacklight!

5 hrs under the blacklight helped a little bit; but not compared to the results the sun gives is my observation/conclusion with this experiment. I’d just be patient and wait for a sunny day.

Maybe if left for 24 hours under the blacklight might get better results
