Modern Pachinko Themes

I may be missing something here, but why have pachinko making companies like Sankyo partnered with people like Nintendo and Pokémon to make themes like donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda, Metroid Pokémon… you get the gist. Just seems like all of these themes they come out with I’ve never heard of and they would appeal to a larger group of people. I think I saw a street fighters and tekken. But still. There are so much more than the anime themes

Probably because Nintendo is a “family company” and does not want to be associated with the seedy underworld of pachinko… Gambling; parlors run potential North Korean or yakuza types.

Same reason you don’t see Disney pachinkos (that aren’t toys)

But there’s SOD (Soft on Demand) series available as a consolation!

Once Disney bought Marvel and Star Wars, those pachis stopped too!!

Oh yeah; “Dead or Alive Xtreme” is technically a video game offer by Nintendo on the Switch console. Not to mention Senran Kagura (pinball) I bought the games to better understand what’s going on in the pachinkos.

Not games developed by Nintendo but Nintendo games nonetheless!

Yup as mentioned earlier Nintendo does not want to collapse their own brand for “small amount of money” compared to their size of business.

Also there’s another issue, the price for copyright of those contents went rocketed out to the moon..

Well some day anyhow, if I got your support and pachinko went to be a part of culture, I can be someone to talk about this with Nintendo
