Pentagon Slot Machine Questions

I have a Pentagon slot machine that I like very much and would like to restore. The machine works well but it looks like It needs a few things.
There is a hole on the far right that looks like there should be a key lock there. (based on a pic I saw on a different post)
There are a bunch of small bulbs burned out.

My questions are:
Where can I source the missing key lock and the bulbs.
Has anyone converted these small bulbs to LED successfully? if so, how?
How can I determine if the reels are in the right positions?

it’s weird, there is nothing left of the front lock. It looks like someone (before me) broke into this machine and “engineered” a side lock for it.

I’m also wondering what the two hanging wires are supposed to do.
