    Default Gothic Beast Vanguard

    Hi,
Anyone familiar with the Gothic Beast by Vanguard? The seller is asking $350 USD and I'm not sure if that's a fair price.
    Thanks

As a buyer, I wouldn’t pay more than $75 for it, $100 if it’s in great condition. As a seller, I’d try to get $200 for it so list at $250 and hope someone lowballs it for more than $100.

But ir depends on the local market. Mine here is almost non-existent.

Thanks for the prompt reply Atoombolle, greatly appreciated. Where I am in Canada we don't often get the chance to purchase many machines locally so I'm not well versed in the market prices. Your opinion saved me a long journey. Cheers. CollinP

Maybe the market differs in Canada, but it looks like an old (not antique) generic machine without any extra bells and whistles to me.

In the end, the value is entirely subjective: will this machine give you $350 of joy, assuming that once you’re done with it you will not be able to get most of the money back.

I definetely agree., it is subjective. I was a little worried about the condition, having only one image to go by. It was a "do it today or not at all" scenario. Because I'm driving to Niagra Falls I thought I'd see if I could pick it up while I was in the area. If I made the trip only for the machine, I'd have to spend another $70+ on gas so I really appreciated your response.

Been there, done that. Anytime I go on a road trip I look for possibilities along the route/destination. It doesn't work out often, but when it does it's a great bonus for your trip .
