entered a sniper bid then saw interest here so said i wouldnt bid then emailed to retract it. (also i just took a $$ hit on that bad digipachi i posted about.)
received an email reply they had removed but i didn't check myself.

saw the notice last night and i emailed them again asking what the heck - we'll see what happens now the weekend is over. this isn't good.

Arepachis are way more fun than an old digipachi anyway… Perhaps fate intervened on your behalf?

Their site specifically states in no uncertain terms: “after making a bid it is not possible to cancel”

“According to the rules for auction, placing bids means the customer agreed to purchase the item. therefore when winning the auction customers should complete the transaction”

“We unfortunately cannot accept cancellation once you win an auction”

well after some back and forth i was forced to buy it.
it arrived today.

issues:
low ball supply remains on even after tray is filled
ball launcher only launches balls about halfway up the ramp, no balls clear the rail

I figured, they aren’t playing when their site mentions “all bids are final”!

You must have angered the pachinko gods by quickly parting out that last defective one to have such terrible luck twice in a row!

Good news is that Maturi frame is somewhat common domestically, and cheap usually. So can always just cell swap it to another nicer/working frame if the shooter can’t be fixed. I even have an extra flood damaged frame my Apollo 1 came from… no telling if that shooter motor is any good though still.

I’ll check mine later and see if there’s any knob/adjustment for the shooter strength. As for the out of balls light being on; a minor detail compared to weak shooter… could just be a bad micro switch.

I just checked my Maturi machines and unfortunately cannot find any knob to adjust shooter strength. Is the little spring on the ball shooter hammer in tact?

Whatever you do; do not part it out just yet! If it comes down to it, and you can’t find one of the 13 machines that utilize this frame; as mentioned I do have a parts frame (which has been completely submerged in flood waters )
By some miracle electronics can apparently survive being underwater for days if dried and cleaned properly before powering up. (I restored both a Star Wars and Apollo 1 cell from the flooded machines I was given)

problems have been resolved. i failed at modern pachi 101 and failed to check ghee pin connectors. now we are good to go!

i have no idea how to play this game. can't seem to get the center flippers to open no matter what I do.

Well it plays almost like a kenrimono or digihane in regards to activating the fever mode; first things first you must spin 2 matching numbers; then you get a chance at the hanemono like mechanical center feature; usually it shafts you; sometimes your ball makes it to the V hole then you proceed to step 3 on the right side (fever time). You might have to play it for 30+ mins to get any fever action… depends.

All the while you get paid out for 4 balls in a row on the bottom; again for 5 in a row, ect ect (I once got 8 in a row!)

Also, not sure if this is your first arepachi but each “round” you fire 16 balls; the shooter will pause; then you start over and shoot 16 balls again; it’s kinda like playing an arrange ball but much faster gameplay; no waiting to drop coins or press buttons.

Yeah, it makes more sense once you have played an arrangeball; and it’s got to reset the pockets/lights frequently, once a round (every 16 balls shot) or otherwise it would be way too easy to get 4,5,6,7,8 … balls in a row and get a big payout. It’s all about multitasking on this game; scoring 2-3 spins in the pass-through pocket while also trying to get at least 4 in a row on the bottom for a quick payout.

I'm happy you got yours working! It's the only modern machine I have any more.
