Does anyone have one for sale? I’ve played it twice and I just love this game.

It’s kind of a “holy grail” machine that rarely comes up for sale. Even on yahoo auctions… there was one for sale there for a long time about a year ago. That said; patience is key to finding one, it’s a waiting game.

I bought a Maturi Penguin from a collector on here years ago; who also had an Apollo 1 but he wouldn’t sell that one… Luckily yet another collector gave me a flood damaged Apollo 1 which I restored the cell from and now I’ve got cell swapping options for both! Not selling though… too rare and fun!

You need to create an account with a 3rd party proxy bidder. FromJapan or Buyee work well. I’ve had a bad experience with a busted up machine arriving once to FromJapan and their “buyer protection program” I paid extra for totally hosed me. So I’m going to recommend Buyee

All you do is give them the link on yahoo auctions and they bid for you; have it shipped to their warehouse in Japan, then ship it to you.

Such a cool looking frame. I am sticking with newer machines for now though. But it certainly is a tempting machine to go after, even at the 25000 yen it's currently at. Not sure what my next machine will be. Both the Newgin Urutsei Yatsura and Godzilla vs Evangelion are equally tempting (with the former being cheaper to ship).

It wasn't me And likely not Austin unless he wants another frame. Given the time of the bid it's likely to be someone outside of Japan since they're not quite awake there yet . Since the listing got some playtime in these forums there is a good chance it's someone here who saw it too.

If we're going to do wild guesses... Put me in for a little over 50000 yen.

I've had bad luck with snipe bids in From Japan and will not use those again as the system simply didn't bid for me and the thing I was bidding on went for less than what I had in my snipe bid (and I missed out, thankfully it wasn't anything rare, but it was irritating).

It won’t let me enter another regular bid. Is it a once a day kind of thing?

I think you have to wait until your snipe bid price has been surpassed in the regular bidding. From Japan is weird like that. Just like you can't increase your normal bid either (the reason they give is that since they bid with proxy accounts your updated bid may be interpreted as a new bid and you're then raising the current bid unintentionally). I'd just wait until you get closer to the end of the auction to see what your next step should be. Just in case, I'd look into creating a Buyee account as well (or if that's what you used, create a From Japan account as well). I've only ever used From Japan so far, but it has its quirks.

The main appeal of this one is it’s one of the last arepachi ever made; and a good one at that! They literally don’t make ‘em like the used to! They are extinct; like arrange ball.

I’ve got that newer Urusei Yatsura (and a Girlfriend Beta cell for that frame) and both are very nice machines!
