    Default Rekey Door Lock

    Hi,
Could anyone please tell me if it's possible to rekey a door lock (see the attached images) rather than buy a complete assembly. This one off an Azteca machine which, I think, is manufactured by Eleco.
    Thanks.

Forgot to post the item number

You may have to change the item location to worldwide.

Maybe worth asking the seller, read the ad 1st

Thanks for the reply. I don't think there are any "guts" within the lock. It'll turn 180 without anything being inserted in the key slot.

I just figured out how to remove the lock cylinder and see that all of the pins have been removed. I'll maybe take a trip to a hardware store or locksmith and see if it can be rebuilt. I know it's not necessary for the operation but it completes the machine.
Thanks again for your support. CollinP

I have a similar kind of lock. can pull the core in and out all day. the way it was keyed is using slider pins of some form. your probably better off figuring out weither the locksmith can make a key for it. fairly sure he wont be able to. if not, grab a dead key or a blank and use it as a lever for your door!
