    Default Acquired LuckyCats, need some help with getting it functional

    Greetings.

    I was lucky enough to find a Welcome to Luckycats (Aristocrat) machine that was being discarded. It came with a mess of tokens as well. No key

    Power on, the lights come on and the attract screen plays on the side where it scrolls some Japanese text and the word Aristocrat. No music.

    Zero credits show, will not increment credits when a token is inserted and the token just falls through. I'd love to get it working if possible.

    Thanks

    If in error. Most machines will not allow tokens to be accepted.

    Need to see of any error codes etc. Of course. There was a reason it was discarded. Might be a simple fix or terminal.

    We need philmm’s machine insides, not yours. Cause someone elses insides when their situation could be different than the problem machine is a bad problem to have.

    Could you take a pic close up of the coin mech area with its Brown Cover removed? i belive your coin mech has a faulty coin sensor
    On another note it looks like your coin chute may be installed wrong

    So thanks to Steve2000 I was able to get inside my unit without drilling out the lock. Here are the pics from inside.

    https://imgur.com/a/pe8hZLf

    After opening up the door, I think it is behaving differently. The coin hopper starts spinning and pooping out tokens like mad. Continuously. Even after I power off and back on via the power box or unplugging it and plugging back in. I thought it might have been a jackpot so I poured in all the coins and caught them as they pooped out the front and fed them back in at least three times with no change. I have toggled the key and switches on the power box and other than turning off from the inside, nothing changes.

    The coin in always drops to the tray unless I manually hold the white plastic part down. Then when I let it go, the coin will go down the slot to the inside. But of course this can only be done with the door open.

    Any advice on how to get it out of a possible jackpot or some sort of error mode is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    And your reset key is in maintenance(tuned to the arrow)

    power off both top toggle buttons
    leave the key in maintenance mode to the right
    turn only the top left toggle on.. the coins should have stopped spitting out and you should see a #1 on the front of the door
    if so you can change the odds 1-6 by pressing a button on the inside of the door
    now remember to tap the play knob on the front of the door
    That acts like a enter button to register your changes
    finally turn you key on the power supply back in the upright position away from the arrow
    hopefully your coin mech will make a sound and a light on the front will indicate..ready for tokens
    DON'T FEED THE

    Holy cow it works! Sort of.

    I followed your directions but I think the left/right switches might be swapped. Can't recall exactly. Anyway.

    Got it working, set it to 3 and played a bunch. Put in almost all my coins when I hit a triple White Seven jackpot. It went into crazy mode, hitting three coins every time I played. Lots of wild music and pooping out coins left and right. But eventually it ended up not responding to anything. Showed lots of credits in the left had window and 2-7 (I think) in the middle window. None of the buttons did anything and it was flashing lights all over and playing crazy music.

    I thought it had run out of coins so I opened it up but there were still some in there. Went through the reset sequence again but now it will accept coins and run up credits but will not play when hit the lever. No music. I am assuming it was in some sort of Attendant Required payout mode maybe? But I don't know the proper reset so it won't get playing again.

    OK so I think I have it down now. The white button is the system reset and has to be done after a huge win from what I can tell. Also on the door under the center of the window there is a connector and I noticed it had a red LED lit. Red is always bad (heh) so I wiggled it a little and the LED went out. Now it plays normally again. Probably a loose connection.

    Thank so much to all in helping get this thing running! Who would have thought I would stumble on a fully functioning game sitting on the curb?!

    Usually there's a switch on the power supply to turn off the need for a reset after a big bonus!!

    Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on
