Giant Seven Tayo Elec Transformer Specs

Hello lads I have been gifted a Giant Seven Machine and unfortunately there is no xfromer in the unit, I was wondering if somebody could help in providing some info on what step down voltage these units require and possible model that would suit, I have read that 24volts might be an option but do want to fry anything on a guess.

A 24v 5 amp transformer should be fine for that. The older 20+ year old machines don’t need an 8 or 10 amp transformers like the new power hungry models, unless you want to buy a bigger one to run multiple machines off of. More amps the more machines you can run.

Also assuming that we are talking 110-240 AC down to 24volt DC or is it stepped down from 110-240AC to 24V AC- I doubt it 24AC but just to be 100% on point.

Just about any Pachinko who's electronics are more than just lights is 24VAC.

Yep. AC to AC transformer. Do not get a transformer with DC output.
If stepping down from 240v I would recommend a slightly bigger transfomer rating of 150va or 6.5A as I have had problems with 5A ones when dropping down from Uk mains 240V

ideally check about on the back of the machine and look for a VA rating on any of the covers.
