Default Yet another "balls won't load" thread

I looked through several of the existing threads but couldn't quite find the answer. I think a part is missing (or maybe not connected). The machine used to work but it's been moved a couple times and no longer shoots. But I can manually move the clear plastic thing after every shot and make it work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Charlie

That clear plastic (but dirty) part with the spike on it is the load lever. It is supposed to be operated by a wire connected to the shooter arm to rock it back and forth. I don't see the wire.

The upside down L shaped wire with the protective sleeve on it is not visible in your picture

Thanks. I think there is maybe a piece of something there, though it's coming straight out and not up and out? I also meant to mention that it is a Nishijin "DX" model.

    your wire got broke off..

are you any good with a soldering iron??

Thanks everyone, what a great resource this place is! I was able to fashion a replacement out of a paperclip and it's working again.
