The first Star Wars, the price I paid would make one sick now.
The New Century, I will wait till the price really drops down.

Arby, if you're enjoying that machine, that is all that matters.

I got to kick everybody else off it to play, it grabs you deep down inside you. I keep see different stuff, I don't know if it was there before and I missed it or some other part of play.
I can spend two hours on it and not realize where the time went. It will be had to beat it. Thou CRF large Yamato 2 ZF is on par with the Star Wars and the animi is catchy. But they are the same frames and Comuter on the back, only different cells and cell chips (all on the back of the cell).

I see the winner is a Star Wars collector, maybe they will get into more pachinkos after playing this one.

Thank you all for your kind words _ the time was right and I lucked out of having a collector that just had to have it. And I understand him well, I have been there and too spented the sums to get what ever it was I had to have now.

I must add my congratulations as well! Exemplary listing, but more important...the machine was made perfect for an American collector. There's no question that this type of restoration and the upgrades that were added encouraged someone who loved the theme to make the leap into Pachinko.

And just as important: Arby's perfect feedback score (one of the highest I've seen).

Could this type of top-quality detailing, marketing, etc. raise the prices of American-friendly themed machines in this market?

To me, many of the newer machines seem as much works of art as anything else. Games like Tiger Mask, Flower Full Bloom (Sakura)...the skill aspect isn't the same as the older machines, but the visual/sonic experience is quite stunning...and certainly this is true for Fever Star Wars. An artist like Arby would obviously appreciate this.

My love of pachinko extends back to the 60's models I discovered during my childhood. I am quite amazed that the same company (Nishijin) who made my first Pachinko machine (40 years old) today produces the machines they do.

The thing that seems to hold Pachinko back in the US is unfamiliarity...few will make a first time purchase of a 50+ pound game they've never seen in person that comes in a giant box and has no real owner's manual on eBay...and there are certainly no retail outlets I know of around here (Southern California).

My experience with shipping and service from the "big" vendors has been generally positive, and certainly so considering the prices paid. Still, it seems clear to me that Pachinko sales are subsidized by the big containers containing mostly Pachislos (which sell, I'd imagine, 100x the units in the US, if not more). Now I wonder if there's a spot for someone who charges more but gets cherry quality Pachinkos and upgrades and packages them like Arby.

    Hmmmm...
