It does eventually stop on its own.
Any help would be appreciated,

A bit generic. But check the fuse on the stop board. If its blown, you replace it and it blows straight away. Its a sign of bad capacitors on the stop board. Either replace the caps with a soldering iron. or source a new stop board.

Here's the board before and after some repairs. My guy replaced the big cap and the two resistors next to it. The the original resistors seemed to generate a fair amount of heat. I'm waiting for a voltage regulator to come in now and he fixed a burnt trace on the back of the board. I got some BOJACK 5x20mm 1A 1amp 250V 0.2 x 0.78 Inch F1AL250V Fast-Blow Glass Fuses

and hopefully this does the trick

Thats the fellow. Bad caps on that. blow the fuse. then the reels don't stop.

We think that the power regulator is shot as well.i got some coming in a few weeks. One thing at a time.
