Pachislot machine won't stop paying out

Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this world, just bought three Pachislot machines dating to 1999 that came up locally. I always wanted a slot machine of some sort in my house and it was the right time. Two of the machines work perfectly after being reset and loaded with tokens, but the third is giving me problems. The machine will not stop dispensing tokens. No matter how many times I reset it, as soon as it's put back into play mode, it will dispense the entire hopper of tokens and then give an empty hopper error. I sat there for about half an hour dumping tokens into it thinking it was a huge jackpot and would eventually stop, but it never did. I'm at a loss as to what to do to stop this. Can anyone advise? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

The label for the switch next to the red reset button says medal collection..could be a hopper dump switch.. If so, maybe there's a problem there??

Looks like the "hopper dump" switch is ON.

Thanks! That fixed the hopper dumping, but didn't fix the error. It now just gives U2 as the error code, which won't go away with a reset. I can't find that error code in any of the manuals, any idea what needs to be done to clear it?

Is that your book? If so, and you can confirm that error code is in it, I'll buy it. (or if not, and you know the code is in it, I'll buy it!) Just not inclined to spend money on it sight unseen when every other Pachislo manual I've found online hasn't had the codes I've been looking for.

It's not my book but this seller sold some very nice machines on eBay in the early 2000's and now parts for machines but the book is his in PDF format all 900+ pages

And maybe some of our still active members here will be around to assist you.

OK, thanks, I appreciate the links! Will add it to my shopping cart. I'm planning on keeping these machines around, so it should be a good resource. The two machines that are going are a lot of fun, it's great to be able to play things like this without losing any money!
