    that is quite a lot of range - a lot happened in between, no?

    appears to be a standard masamura 191-1953 model from what i've seen and collected. i've bought a lot of "late 1940s" models that are actually mid 1950s models.

    yup, 100% this.
    Given the mechanisms on the back, I'd guess even closer to 1955 even?
    Mind you I haven't seen that specific style of jackpot-dumping mech before, where it opens out the back and dumps into a 'bucket'
