Galaga pachislot error will not clear

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I've tried about everything I could think of, yet the error will not clear when I reset the machine. I even hear the "click" when the machine resets.

I'm sorry I don't know what this error is..Was it working fine before the error??

I just wanted to post the reset procedure to make sure you didn't miss any steps!!

Full reset (sometimes referred to here as the hard reset) it includes changing or setting the odds as part of the procedure..

"TURN YOUR MACHINE OFF FIRST"

1. Locate internal key switch, and insert key.
Note: In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens/coins or credits being played and off.

2. Turn "reset" key switch to on, to access programming mode.

3. Turn on machine now.

4. Depending on machine type, a number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on one of the LED meters on front door.

5. Locate and push Odds setting button. Depress button and notice movement of number being displayed in LED meter.

6. Once desired level is displayed (1 to 6), push down on play handle (Joy Stick) for 10 seconds.

7. Turn "reset" key back to off.

8. Machine should immediately initialize. If not, turn power switch to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and turn power switch back to ON position.

Yes, the machine was working just fine prior to me attempting to change the odds. I double checked the reset procedure and the error unfortunately still won't clear.

You might try posting full pictures inside and out of the machine to see if anyone can spot something..

What's FAn on the display?

At a random stab in the dark. If a machine goes straight to error after a reset. Chances are it's a faulty sensor either in the token acceptor or hopper. Most newer machines have some sort of led diagnoses on a circuit board to test all switches and inputs. That's where I would start. It's also a good idea to take note of the leds as you go. As it may help in future.

Guessing but check the coin mech isn’t stuck open.. little flap should engage..
also pull the hopper out and rotate the wheel by hand checking for a jam
give both a blast of air..to get the dust off the sensors
make sure hopper seats properly when reinstalling

Does it have a cooling fan that has failed? Maybe in the power supply?

I'm not certain if it's a cooling fan issue. But now that you mention it, this machine does indeed have a fan above the reels.

It's fixed! Thank y'all so much for your suggestions!

The fix was as simple as using an electronics duster on the fan.
