I’m working on a sign commemorating Apollo 11. It’s a work in progress and I do realize the emblem is crooked. Is this a good add?

PS I’m doing the playfield over to remove the background from some of the pictures.

Totally up to you, there's no right or wrong answer, this is your custom machine. Perhaps try fitting them in the lower right corner where your tax stamps are on your old playfield and see if you like them there?

Well the Enamel Pin in question can always be put in some nice Black Metal Flake plastic shadow box on top of the machine . You can print the words in gold or silver on Transparent Inkjet sticky Sheets

I’d like to bleach the white pieces with Salon 40, but I need some how to instructions. I also wonder how to prevent bleaching the stickers and color portions. Please help.

I just used Salon 40 on the same pieces on my Bowling Alley Model A. I took the pin out of the bottom of the ashtray to separate it from the overflow ball tray and tested the Salon 40 on the aluminum, no issues whatsoever, so I put it them in ziplock bags with a generous amount of Salon 40 on the white parts, then put it out in the sun for a couple of days, checking it every few hours to ensure it wasn't damaging the plastics (it was hot and sunny here). Then I rinsed them with soap & water and applied Turtle Wax Plastic Restorer to shine them up.

For the "Nishijin" name plate, same thing, it didn't seem to harm the decal, it did remove the chrome paint, so I used a paint pen to fix it when it was done. Jackpot cover with the green lenses, I removed the lenses from the back by cutting the tabs with an exacto knife, then same process as above, used a hot glue gun to hold the tabs for the green lenses back in place when I was done.
I did take close up pictures of the two decals just in case they were damaged, figured I could print them out and laminate them back on to fix it, but I'm fine with the little fading that I experienced.

Be sure to wear some type of protective gloves, I kind of burned my finger tips a little bit from getting the Salon 40 on them for a prolonged period of time & avoid getting it on your clothing or colored plastics as well.

I always take the stickers off and reglue them back, or some custom machines I make new custom stickers to go with the theme of the machine.

I've never had a problem with the colored plastic. But if I can remove it, I do. Just make sure you use a sealed plastic bag, you don't want the Salon Care 40 to dry out onto the piece. The sealed plastic bag keeps it moist. Just depending how yellowed the piece is, determines how long it needs to stay in the sun.

I learned a lesson today about using Salon 40. I’ve washed my hands several times and I can’t get rid of the white. It also got into a cut I didn’t know I had. Next time I’ll wear gloves.

Today I got the playfield printed laminated and glued down. For reference Staples charged $24 to scan, print and laminate.

I started installing the nails in one half of the playfield tonight. Several of them could use some adjusting. Last May I purchased a nail adjustment tool from e-bay. I stored it in a safe place for this exact purpose. I wish I could find it.

I can relate to that, I put stuff in a "safe place" that seems logical, that is until I need it again....

I made an adjustment gauge by using a chopstick with some epoxy to bond a ball to it, works just fine.

what adhesive do you use to glue down the laminated playfield?
i always just painted directly on the wood but am now moving on to printed playfields.

On the pachinkos I've taken apart and put back together, the attractions generally have smooth nails, perhaps to make it easier to get them back off?
