I just wanted to share some good news. The credit union I belong to sold raffle tickets for one of my machines and raised over $1000 for the children's hospital. Lets all try this.

If it is a tax deductable charity., they give you a letter of value, you take it off your taxes as a charitable deduction.

Unless you have a good deal of deductions that could be more trouble than its worth wouldnt you think? Even if you have alot of deductions it could be more trouble.
As a trucker I can deduct quite a bit but find that its such a pain & the rewards are so little that I dont bother.
I like the % of winnings idea.
