Credit Collect Button does not work

The credit collect button does nothing when pressed and does not light up. I checked the wires and they appear good. I removed the button and cleaned the sensor. Any ideas on what is wrong or what I need to check next.

Is it a physical switch or a photo sensor? If photo sensor. Can you see what is meant to break the ir beam? Intact? Any indicator lights on the main board?

credit collect? Is the coin mech working or button to pay out from Hopper..

The coin mech is working. My problem is when I press the credit button nothing happens. I cannot change from credit to direct payout. Also cannot get any tokens back when I press it. I checked the cable and it is good.

I don't see any lights on the main board. The switch clicks when I press it but thought it is a photo sensor. I checked the cables and they are good. According to the manual with no tokens in the machine if I press and hold the button it is suppose to change from credit to direct payout and back to credit if I press and hold it again. The display is suppose to show " " when it is in the direct payout but it never changes the display is always 0. The button is also suppose to dispense any tokens I have in the machine if I decide to stop playing but it doesn't do that either. Any idea what on the main board the switch connect to. I have been trying to find a schematic but so far not luck.

If you look inside the switch. Does pressing the button break the IR beam. OR does it remove an obstruction from the beam.

could be a faulty IR imitter, or a bit of plastic snapped off the button.

I’ve had dozens of pachislo’ and don’t remember a direct payout feature

after 50 tokens it starts paying out when you win
these games are designed so you don’t have to keeps pumping in 3 tokens a spin
I’m thinking you may have a chip installed for credit only play.. no
tokens needed
that said the hopper should still pay out the credits available when you want

Many older machines had a cash/credit mode..in cash mode you have to put tokens in each spin and all winnings are payed out..No 50 credits before paying out..

My Super Mog Mog has a credit button to switch the payout modes. However, it does not work if the switch on the inside (the one with the key) is not in the off position. I doubt that's the case here though but worth a look.

I have to use tokens. I put 50 in to start. When you have tokens in and press the credit button it is suppose to return all your tokens

The Max711 also has a credit button. With no tokens in the machine if you press and hold the credit button for 3 seconds it is suppose to switch modes but it does do it.

I cannot see anything unless I remove the button. There are 2 wires coming from the button to a plug on another board. The other buttons that work also connect to this board. The board is on the door.

I found a similar manual..not all machines have that feature even if that’s the manual with your machine
