Odd Payout

Well here's something I haven't seen....

I was playing our Bellco Regal (which nobody seems to like, but we love it). I get a Big Bonus and am playing along when I hit this:


Now the interesting part is the 'WIN' which is 23. That's a very strange number that I can't figure out how it came up with. Here are the (fuzzy) payouts on this machine.



You'll note that the payout of Melon/Melon/Regal wins 13. So that leaves 10 more that came from somewhere. There is nothing that pays 10 and certainly nothing on the reels at that time. The closest I see is the Seven/Replay/Replay on the middle playline, but that pays out 14 and only during a bonus game (which I don't believe qualifies for a Big Bonus). Even the two 'odd' paylines don't have anything on them.

Any ideas? I've never seen this happen on any of the machines I have, but I'm no expert.

I can't tell you why the payout is such, but those backlit reels look pretty cool to me.

i don't see the combination, but with a 7 line payout you can win more than one row at the same time.

My net Stock Bugyo is 7 lines and sometimes it pays for 2 different lines on one spin.

with mine it has red lasers to show the payout lines.

Taking Lucky's theory a bit further, does the "EX Line" (with three 7's) come into play?

If you look closely at the 'Ex Lines' there are not three sevens on one of them. That line is the lower left, center, and 'Ex Window.' Also this machine doesn't pay for mixed 7's.

I'm just at a complete loss on this.

Oh and Tulsa, thanks for the compliment on the machine reels. We really like it. It's very clean and traditional. I should see about doing up some nice photos of the whole machine. One of these days. In all my free time.

I thought the max payout was 15 per spin per Japanese law or something? My Wild Wolf is a seven liner and you only get 15 max if you hit multiple payouts no matter what it should be. Your situation is baffling!

I'm still terribly confused by it. I haven't had it happen before or since. Both of us are watching like a hawk, though, in case it happens again!
