    Default Cell Cleaning

It seems again cleaning a machine is hit and miss with the vendors of late.
Her is one great tool put out by Sanyko. I got one and It does in 3 mins. what took an hour and half before and it is done better.
Works like a vibrater brush with soft brisles and polishes too!

    Arby,

How do you deal with the note in the ad that says "Overseas it does not dispatch. Seller will not ship internationally"? It seems I see this in all the Yahoo Japan ads.

Aha! Thanks, Luckydog. That explains alot of what I had been reading in this forum on how Arby has the inside track.

    Arby,
How many hours of home use does it take to benefit from additional cleaning?
Are you using a power converter?
Can you get cleaner refills ?

You will need to find the item on japan yahoo, email him the linc and the max you will spend. In the begaining you will need to paypal a deposit to him.
machine shipping runs $320 (20 extra for more bubble wrap) EMS. there is no slow way that is safe.
a word of note don't get any balls shipped with your machine, if they split, they fly every where.
His fee is 10% of the whole cost _
This might be a good discussion to have at some point as maybe a few other people here would be interested in doing this also. It seems you are having good luck?

Arby: How stiff are the brushes on this thing and how fast does it rotate? I don't need exact specs, but there are several devices available that have spinning brushes and I was just wondering if one of them would work. Last night I saw a "foot scrubber" that was a rotating brush and came with little massaging attachments and such. It spins rather slow, though, and the brushes are extremely soft. But at $4, if it worked....

They don't spin, more vibrate. Brussels are about 3 inches long.
One head is like a med. priced paint brush Brussels, the other is like a very costly camel paint brush Brussels.
The vibration is fast, but very little movement.
I have a deep muscle massager it reminds me of.
    I hope that helps

Perfect description Arby. I'll go play with the ones I can find in stores and see what I can come up with that's comparable.

The Brussels are about 3 inches long to walk around the nails, they clean right around them like a zero turn lawnmower.

It is a foaming solvent polish, it breaks loose any grim and lifts it away. Than use the softer brush to polish.

Surly there is the same thing for the play aera of pinball machines.

    Hi.

I use Novus on my pinball machines. Theres 3 different types.

There used for plastic surfaces and scratched playfields.

3 is the strongest and its like a cream gritty based what works a removes heavy scratches and grime.
    2 is for lighter scratches.
1 really is a polisher and general cleaner to give it a nice finish.

I bought all 3 with my first machine 3yrs ago and Ive used 2 a bit but mainly 1 (after using a foam cleaner first to get rid of dirt). 3 really is for heavy duty cleaning so I dont think u would really need it. I think number 1 would be the best option. Ive only cleaned manually with cloths as well so using a buffer device u obviously wont need as strong a novus.

You should be able to get ahold of them very easily from Pinball dealers in the USA (same with millwall wax etc.. if u decide to make it faster ).

The stuff that comes with the brush lifts the grime and than leaves a polish even around the nails.

Before I hand to use a strong cleaner than the Novus 2, to make it shine.

15 min vs 2 hours using cotton swabs
