I have been playing computer games since 1973 ( Yes ,I played games on a teletype computer terminal on the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Public Schools Mainframe Computer )
To get to the point of the topic I have been playing Guitar Hero for Decades and guess what they use to make the guitar and other instruments Wireless ?

Years ago, wasn’t there some computer games or software that wouldn’t work unless a dongle was fitted. In a bid to stop piracy.
Robocop 3 springs to mind.
