    Default Fascinating Single Shot

I recently bought a rough single shot from a lady in Indiana. Couldn't sell it in her small town of 6,500 so she put it on Ebay, where she has a newbie rating of 2, but we got it done and shipped to Florida'

I have a Nishijin single shot that is OK, but this machine was my first introduction to the older vintages with such unique mechanical operations. I spent 10-15 minutes just looking it over and trying to figure out how it worked...and enjoyed every second of it! All those rusted parts mean lots of work but I am looking forward to seeing it operate one day.

I found where the lower payout actuating arm was binding at. A single screw to move a plastic part a couple mm allowed the arm to start operating properly. So actually it does work, so actually I'm looking forward to seeing it all polished up and working.

Nice find!I would say mid to late '50s. Early to mid '50s machines have all wood frames. Glass slides out the top. You have a chrome door that swings open.
Maruhon! don't think I have ever seen one in single shot form.

you scored on that shipping. I've never gotten anything for under US$140 - mind you it's usually a pack and ship service
