Question How to safely lay down my pachinko machine

    Hi all!

I recently bought a vintage pachinko machine from an estate sale and am now beginning the process of cleaning it and getting it all set up for play! I’ve read through the stickied cleaning post and had one question that wasn’t answered there: are there any best practices for laying down my machine? I’ve laid out a beach towel of course, but obviously there are bits on each side of the cabinet which stick out farther than the wooden frame, and I’d hate to make an error that would cause harm to the machine.

If it helps, I am 99% sure I have a Sanyo Comet 2 from 1977.

    Thank you all in advance!

As long as the balls have been taken out you can put it on its side without too much worry. On a separate note I add wooden feet to mine to help them stand up. The first thing I do is add feet to keep them from falling over.
