Perhaps your friend who you suggested could repair the wire is familiar with electronic troubleshooting and can test the cable and/or splice it for you. I don't know where you would find a replacement cable (and testing/fixing the one you have should be easy enough.)

@Pneuma, here is what each of those wires are used for:

Pin Purpose
1 Ground (yellow wire)
2 125 Hz Clock signal (opto-isolated)
3 Game CPU to CR communication signal (opto-isolated)
4 CR to Game CPU communication signal (opto-isolated)
5 Power +12v dc (supplied by CR)

From your picture, it looks to me like the 'power' wire is the one that may be damaged.

Pneuma. No you test ohms (resistance) with the cable out of circuit. Please search YouTube for "Use Multimeter to Test Resistance and Continuity" for instructions

Good morning everybody is my newest concern. Everyone I make it to fever mode , something happens to cause sirens to go off and it displays this. It had happened twice. I have to turn off machine and unplug the monitor and plug back in the monitor to get it to turn on. Next time it happens, I'll check for an error code. Had anybody seen this before?

The message is saying to call for an attendant. Unplug your dongle to see if it is interfering somehow if you stored it on your machine.

Dongle is not connected. I'm waiting for the next fever to happen to see what info. I can get. I usually just unplug it. The farthest I made it to was round 9. This was was after making two balls into fever hole. I poured some more balls into the prize hopper than it happened. I havent been able to make it through a complete fever mode yet

I recall one of my older machine throwing out an message and stopping all play if the rear hopper ran empty. It could be this same frame that you have.

Some machines hate it if you don't play through the fever as they assume there is a fault.
