Default How to stop pachislo reels from slight wobbling

    Good Day All,

My 2nd and 3rd reels of 5 seem to have a wobble of about half centimeter back and forth when spinning. Thankfully nothing is skidding or catching anywhere. Can someone please assist with either thread this has been covered in, any advice you'd like, possible video or maybe a specific tool set I need to purchase?

May your tokens remain shiny and your steely balls pure,

Hi Terraforman, Fortunately reels are designed as lightweight as possible and are not very robust. My guess is that the supporting plastic spokes warp with age . You would need to take it out of the machine and make a fixture to hold and spin it by hand on, while applying heat and pressure to suspected spokes. Then of course you would need to patiently keep checking your work while spinning it up near a fixed point. Of course the operation doesn't come without risk of making the problem worse. I have never tried it myself just thought about it while watching them wobble. I believe it can be done, but not easily. Maybe someone here has had some success?

That sounds near about right I imagine. Thank you very much for your rapid response.
I don't think I'd have it in me to even attempt it. Haven't seen any videos of people doing them either soooo....yeah lol.
All that comes to mind would be a hairdryer on low setting sorta setup but that's just asking for trouble. You can't normally "melt it back to normal" though ya know?
Are the small step motors able to be opened confidently and maintained? If that's in a different forum please someone lead the way.
