Default Fluorescent light board fuse blowing

Hello there. I have a Sinbad Adventure Pachislo machine and the belly light isn't working. I purchased a new bulb and it's still not working. I have removed the fluorescent light board and checked the fuse and it's bad. I placed a new fuse in twice and they have both blown. They are the correct spec which is 2amp. Do I need a slow-blow fuse instead or could this be a different problem? Thanks

Hmm. getting hold of a 100 volt Starter board for florescent tubes in the UK might be a nightmare.
It might be easier to install a small 100-240v transformer and install LED strip lighting instead.

or try to diagnose the fault with that board. (replace Caps, test resistors and diodes etc)
