Hi !
Some news : i started troubleshouting the wire and found out that main transfo was giving 17v and 0,3v in stead of expected 24 and 12v ...
I started unpluging and repluging all connectors and starting to think about troubleshouting the electronics ...
then after 10 minutes doing something else i ran back and ...
check the 12v fuse : Dead !
so tomorrow, i will chase those kind of old fuse around the city and be back to you with (i hope) good news ...

Hi ! Some news :
1-fuse changed but no improvement
2-Main electronic boad shows rework (japonese stamp on box)
3-By visual check, i found a burnt component at 12/24v entry
4-found as well another sticker with name of the box

if any one can translate will be great
and any suggestion for next step is welcome
by now, i will look for this thermic condo

Hello,
Some news, checking and soldering the main board, i have no payout.
One circuit (empty balls and luncher) is working
Other circuit (PCB) seems OK (2 volatage DC 12 and DC 24) but only central one digit panel is on.
NO PAYOUT (i will open a ticket)

thank you for translations
so i open the pcb case after 34 years ... i guess is ok as i will not claim for warranty :-)

some news from the diag :

PCB has 2 powered circuit :
1/ 12vac truned to 16vac thanx to a zener diod --> powering the pcb
2/ 24 vac turned to 32vac thanx to 4 diodes bridge --> connected to playfield (flash lamps, wings solenoids, tulips)
3/a 10pins connectors goes to one digit central panel (with 12vac)

Playfield :
1/ no reaction to ball entering tulip 1 or 2 d all tulips' switches are OK (closed circuit passing curent)
2/ no lights : i finaly access to flashing lights and they are burnt - i am looking to find E10 30volts lamp to replace
3/ wings not moving, not checked (do not know how to check - direct 32vac to solenoid
4/ no sounds

I still have doubts on the 32vac going to playfield.
i do not know how the check the logical circuit of the PCB.

any suggestion for next steps is welcome !

New chapter:
got n w transformer 220v to 110v
changed central flashing lights e10 24v (instead of e10 30v) and ...
it works !
not yet fully (no payout) but i got the lights and the wings opening when a ball goes into tulip 1 or 2
Also, having a ball inside center hole when wings are open, increase central display 0 to 1 and so
But no payout :-(
after couple of test i lost the lights (probably burnt)

if any one can tell me how payout is working will be great !

Is the machine reacting to a pocket hit. Music/lights? Wings opening and closing?

As for how the payout works. I haven't had a machine of this age or manufacture. So this is generic. Check balls go all the way to the payout assembly. Check you have enough balls to weigh down the switch in the ball tank and that its working.
Drop a ball in a normal pocket and confirms it drops out the back.

yes i have now reactions when ball goes to specific pocket : light flashing, wings opening and sound (lound)
As i have only 250 balls, i may not have enough, i ordered 250 more but will arrive best in 2 weeks, i will let you know.
in the mean time, i am looking for 30v small lamp bulb as the ones i found so far are 24v and already burnt.

Logic probe ? Test to see if the circuit sends a pulse to the payout motors

You could check the individual wires going to the payout motors by multimeter or again the logic probe .

As for the game lights well L.E.D. Will work you might have to use a resistor to use it in a 24-30 volt circuit

Hereby a picture of what seems to be a collector of balls for payout or jackpot.
i can activate manualy to free the balls but i do not see any motor ...
Maybe is missing a part here :-(
does anyone has a similar collector and tell me if mine is complete ?
anychance someone post a picture of a payout motor ?
