WHY does Ebay tempt us???

I just got a flyer from Ebay in the mail

5.00 off 50.00 purchase and 15.00 off 100.00 purchase with Ebay and payment with Paypal.

Now I have an excuse to buy another machine.

I dropped the store when they went up 5.00 more a month.

I didn't make enough when it was only 9.95 a month.

I also get a quarterly sales report form them.

The mailman brought me a letter from PayPal today!
I RIPPED it open to find my discount coupon... only to find an offer for a credit card.

A low introductory rate of 3.99%... hmmm.

After careful reading of the terms, if you are late with any payment, OR are late WITH ANY OTHER CREDITOR... the rate zooms to 29.99%!!!!

And I thought loan-sharking was illegal.

I think I know how they will get the funds to cover those coupons!

I get at least 8 credit card offers a week. If they would stop sending me first class mail in glossy tri color, they would perhaps be able to lower their rates to something reasonable not that I carry a balance.

I used to rip up the contents, stuff it back in their pre-paid envelopes with a note that said - pls remove me off of your mailing list. I figured they would get the hint that these postage pre-paid envelopes were costing them money. If anything I get more. Amex is the worst. I get offers on their blue, traditional, gold and corporate all in the span of 3 days. Its insane.
