    Default Modern Pachinko Firing Mech

I've never seen a Pachinko Machine in the flesh, just pics. On the older "Vintage" machines there seems to be a spring loaded handle that launches the ball - now presumably the further this handle is moved back before release, the harder the ball is fired, I can see this would make for some fun challenging entertainment ! But do I gather that with modern Pachinko's there is some sort of solenoid that fires the balls ? And it is just rate of fire you have control over ? Or can the firing knob also control the actual firing force ?

    Ta !

Yep, the farther you twist the knob, the harder the solenoid fires the ball out of the shoot.

Ah, thanks, good news ! I was worried the only adjustment was between a slow fire rate upto a fast fire rate, seemed very tedious with no possibility of "aiming"

I had read, "the player simply turns a knob which automatically fires the balls on to the playfield in rapid succession" here :

Think I'll get myself a modern one now, although that's easier said than done in the UK
