What not to buy on eBay.. 101

First we have the actual machine....

A Hana Hana by Pioneer. A simple 3 reel, type A machine made in 2001. This one would fall into the same class as the 1999 King Pulsar by Yamasa. Basic.

Now we have what is being auctioned on eBay by someone called gnarly_angel for the modest opening bid of $225 and $69 shipping.

It's not even a good knock-off. This seller is also using private ID's. If they hide this information, they'll hide anything.

Also notice at the bottom of this auction the seller lists his other items for sale. The last item in that list is a real hoot!

The sad thing is he's sold 2 of those contraptions (and I'm not talking about the crappy Pachislo conversions). Look at his completed auctions. Bet his mom is proud of him...

What gets me is these guys that use trademarked and copyrights call themselves "artists" and brag on the quality of their work etc. Soon or later they will get their just due and it won't be just a pulling of the auction by ebay. Instead they will be losing their homes,cars and lifetime savings to the lawyers of the companies that they violated (thats called lawsuit).

Interesting that this is a private auction.

The best thing these "artists" could do is come up with their own original artwork not using someone elses' images,trademarks etc. I would think that since they are so talented that that would not be a problem?

Ya know this is what really burns my butt about these fly by night sellers, they make really piss poor knockoffs and just plain stupid lookin customs. then they sell them at inflated prices.

Then they go and try to sell you accessories, seemingly with no field testing like this auto stop device he has listed, Problem is, with only foward-backward push button action it will only work one button. YOu would have to order three of them to push all three buttons.

These guys need to be stopped, we need more reputable vendors on ebay besides the good guys we already have.
