Default Can anyone give me information on this machine

Some guy is selling this locally, it looks like a good deal. I see no artwork around the reels, but it looks like there's a built in screen.
I can't seem to find pictures of one online that look like this one.

I know it's an HEIWA Monte Carlo, but it looks different than the ones I can find online. Is it a newer model? Frankensteined together machine?

I can't access the page for security reasons

Although most machines with Las Vegas or Monte Carlo on the belly glass have normally been tinkered with. May or may not have a working screen. It's the symbols on the reels that will tell you what machine it is.

Sure thing. Sorry about that. He's selling it for $125 and says it works. Not sure whatelse is wrong with it, but it looks pretty clean inside and out. If I knew what game it was maybe I could buy the belly glass for the proper machine.

Also if you know what this is...I'd be thrilled. Dude said $30 and it comes with the stand. Also said it worked at one point so I'm crossing my fingers it's just a reset type deal. Never know, but I'd say it's worth it for the enclosed stand alone.

Never mind on this one. I found it. It's a 2003 Macy Paijima.

Hopefully you wizards can figure out what that first machine is. Pictures aren't the highest resolution.

Duuuude You are the man! Thanks! So that entire thing around the reels is a screen. Impressive. For $100 do you guys think it would be worth getting? Guy makes it sound like it works.

The screen is showing an error message. so the screen does work.
Might need a reset. or might be worse. But for 125. I'd like to see it work.

I picked up the Paijimi machine for $30 with the stand. The inside looks like it's all there and in good shape. The outside is pretty dirty, but I'm hopeful it cleans up.

I powered it up and the lights came on. It has the odds key, but no door key. I tried putting some coins in it, but they weren't being recognized. Turning the odds key one way the machine let's out a series of almost musical notes, the other way is just some beeps or notes.

I'm wondering if it just needs a reset. It's different than my Sammy Fire Drift so I'm not exactly sure what the process is on this one. I'll get some pictures of the inside when I get home.

Turned the key to see if it was in odds mode and I get the same thing. I think I'm going to start by cleaning up the outside. Worst case I'll remove the door and use it as a decorative wall art, but I'm hopeful I can get it running.

Some pictures of the inside. Not sure why they get turned 90 degrees when I upload on here. They look fine on the computer.

I got the machine to show 0 on the credit display and I adjusted the skill level to 6 so I think I figured out the odds mode and play mode. I just need to figure out how to reset it. I tried doing the same process I do on my Sammy, and it isn't accepting coins. I'm pretty sure this thing is going to work I just need to figure it out. I unplugged the harness to the coin in and when I plugged it back in I heard that click sound so I think that's good. I may try some different tokens from my other machine to see if it takes those.

When you say coins, do you mean actual coins or tokens?

    Good deal. Thanks man

So I'm pretty sure I'm doing a reset on it by putting it in odds mode, hitting down on the level and then turning the key to play mode. Not sure where to go from here. It just won't accept a token. I even did the same thing with a left key turn, and no change.
I'm assuming I need to clean the token mechanism. I did take it out and some areas are dirty, but the sensor didn't look really bad. The slot it travels in is filthy though. I think I'll start by cleaning it. If it doesn't work after that is there anything else to try?

When you say, "It just won't accept a token."

What does that mean exactly. Do the tokens get stuck in the coin mechanism or do they pass through the coin mechanism and go into the hopper and don't register or do they fall back down into the front tray?

Sorry, I should be more specific. It goes through the coin mechanism and goes into the hopper. But the coin is not recognized by the machine. I'm certain the mechanism that routes the coin is working fine, but it's just not picking up that a coin was put in.

I cleaned the coin mech and optical sensor, but no change. Found a post on here that talks about lights on the main board turning on or off when something is pressed.

I tested all switches I could. They either turn a light on, or off when pressed.
I noticed LE15 is on, then turns off when a coin passes through. The plastic piece that gets hit by the coin as it's in the channel. It's linked to the piece that blocks the optical sensor so I assume the sensor is good at this point.

No idea where to go from here. I looked for fuses, but I only found one on a board. It's very difficult to see or even remove from the board to check.
I may bust out my snake cam and see if it's good. Below is a picture of that board with a fuse. Anyone know what it does? It's in the bottom right of the machine.

From what you are describing, I would say the coin mechanism is working. If a token passes through and goes into the hopper. Also that a led is registering it on the motherboard.

I would guess you have a "stuck reel stop button or spin lever". I say "stuck", (for no better term), as the stop buttons and spin lever probably do move freely. Inside the spin lever and stop button assemblies are levers that pass through sensors. Sometimes the levers get stuck and don't move, but the stop buttons and spin lever still move, as nothing is wrong.

This is where the led's on the motherboard come in. Try moving the spin lever and see if a led lights on the motherboard. Do the same for each stop button.

    It is the Stopboard.

There is a 1amp fuse on the board. It would not have anything to do with the problem you are having now.
