    Default Playfield cleaning question

Hi. I have a question on playfield cleaning. I have a project I will be working on for my step father. He was recently diagnosed with ALS and so he and my mother are in the process of getting ready to move to a house that will accommodate him with his condition. While cleaning out their attic his old nishijin was found and I want to make it playable for him as you could see the joy in his face when he saw it again. I usually replace the playfield background but his is in nice shape and I also just don’t have the money anyway to pay for a background at the moment. The playfield is dirty but not stained and I don’t want to ruin it by cleaning it. What is the best product I can use with least chance of damage? Thank you in advance!
    Mike

Thanks all. Are you putting those products on a rag and then just wiping? I just want to avoid causing anything to leak under by the nails. I did on closer inspection notice some staining but it is super minimal and don’t want to add any more if at all possible. Thank you!

I use a cotton swab to apply, let dry, then buff off with a microfibre cloth. The gel gloss is a thicker consistency than a liquid and will not run.
