    Default Odd Jackpot holes

How would these holes ever receive a ball in play? I don't understand their function.

Are you sure they're holes for the balls? Looks like a place for light fixtures to me.

Not for lights. They open right into the jackpot channels behind.

possibly just a way to get a player to play, thinking a hole that big should be an easy score.. who knows?

A ball placed in the holes go thru the jackpot channels to initiate a payoff. Like the standard winning holes.

I was thinking maybe these weird holes would dump a ball into the pockets just below them. But I can't see how a ball could ever start that journey. Oh well....

So is there any path from the center where the ball then exits from those holes into the pockets they are above?

    That's normal for this site...

The designer of the jackpot may not have thought the design completely through. I've seen balls do some weird things on pachinkos, but getting in there would really be something. Now, the playing field IS slightly tilted back, I believe 4 degrees, from perfectly vertical. But that isn't much angle to make it in there...

I'm thinking that's it. Just not well thought out use for these pockets. Maybe the builder was using up some odd bits. No way a ball gets in there during play.

Strange but true... when putting this newly-acquired machine through its paces, a ball bounced off a lower pin up into one of these holes. May never happen again but it did happen once.

The little flags on the center feature must indicate a “golf” theme and you got a hole-in-one!
