    Default Kyoraku

So, I got my first machine today, and it turns on! The ball launching works, the screen displays when hitting the center spin spot, but when I look at the back, it looks like there is a jam to it. I'm new to working with these machines, so any help you guys can give (at a more basic level), for me to un-jam it, would be great. Thanks everyone!

Also, I don't think this is supposed to be happening (sorry, again, new to all of this and want to make sure I'm right).

    Any info is much appreciated!

A full photo of the back of your machine would help and it does look like you have some kind of ball lifter in the back .

On this sort of age machine. For any ball that goes in a win pocket. Its normally kept in the back of the machine until its completes the payout for that ball. So if it gets played alot when the top rear tank is empty. No payout is done so the balls start to build up in the back. Or if there is an obstruction of fluff or other.

Best to unscrew that panel below where you can see the balls and trace the path the balls should take to leave the machine.

Not sure why the shooter motor is acting like that...but that is a huge ball jam that must be cleared out!

I don't think thats the shooter motor as its in the wrong place. But its probably the reason for the ball jam.

A lot of the older machines have a gear set down on the bottom right. I've had to repair broken gears numerous times.

Thanks for all the info. I'll work on taking that case off, and see if that jam could even be causing the motor to jam up. I do appreciate all the info. Like I said, I'm new to this, and want to make sure I take care of this machine I'll post updates as I get to work on it.

Ok, so I wonder if the motor is underperforming. I'll attach 2 videos I just took after taking the outer-most casing off, and unjamming what could have been causing the issue.

So, here is the first video. It's of the motor cycling without any of the pachinko balls in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTOdnSgxzyU

Here is the second video. In this one, you can see where it's jammed, I forced the ball to eject, and it seats the next one but does the same jamming thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLTkpIrbtQk

And I'm sure I'm going to say Thanks millions and millions of times, but thank you again for all the info!

Its also worth seeing if there is any connection between the low ball tank indicator and the gear/lever assembly. Something that is designed to prevent the ball from exiting if the machine is out of balls. A rod/lever or solenoid of some sort.

Yeah, if I gotta tear it down, it's gonna be a hot minute before I can work on it But, when I do, I'll make sure to take lots of pictures, and hopefully can get it back the way it came haha
