Default Kyocera Madoka Magica Pachinko - Installation Questions

I was ordering some arcade stuff from Japan and already getting a shipping container so I decided on a whim to try buying a pachinko and pachislot machine. Honestly, it’s like my second time ever playing one and I’ve definitely never messed with one from a hardware POV before, so pardon my ignorance.

So I picked up this Kyoraku Madoka Magica Pachinko (admittedly, in the way uglier frame than the normal version) and it came in two pieces. For the life of me, I can’t seem to find a key for the frame anywhere on the machine, so I assume that they seller did not include it (or I may have somehow accidentally thrown it away when cleaning up the package :0…).

Before I go and try disassembling all the electronics on the back frame to get to the key unlock, is there a better way of installing the field into the frame? Is there any sort of master key for Kyocera machines? Just any general advice is much appreciated for this newb :3.

    WELCOME!!!

Sorry, I'm no help with cell swapping, but someone who knows should be by soon hopefully!!

There may be a way to open the front/frame from the back, but I know some newer machines don't have the same easy access as older machines without a key.. Most keys are all the same, a member my have an extra or you should be able to order one from a dealer or ebay!!

Mandoman has put a Madoka cel into an AKB48 frame thats the same as that.
The key shold be the standard omron key that fit 99% of machines, But there is always that 1 % thats slightly different, That would have been a parlour thing not manafacture.

Don't forget its a Kyoraku. so expect something like this on start up

    Oh one really big thing

DON'T PLUG IT INTO THE WALL SOCKET unless you have a 24vac transformer attached. These machines come as standard with a 2 pin plug that is the as a US power outlet. Plug it straight in without a transformer. Your blow it up. If in doubt. Ask

Ok. So I had a look at my AKB48 machine.
You need to open up the front glass. The the cel slides into the left with 2 clamps (top and bottom) to hold it in place.

It is possible to open up the front without a key but it's a pain.
If you can unlock the main unit from the frame. The push up with a flat blade screwdriver on the second rod at the bottom. It should release the 2 front glass latches

The blowing up part applies if I am in the US too? Usually Japanese electronics work just fine here (including my pachislot), since it’s only 120V and Japan is 110V. Haven’t plugged anything in yet though, so if that’s still the case, I’ll pick up a transformer.

    Sure does.

All modern pachinko machines and some pachislos run on 24vac not 100vac. Your Madoka will be 24vac. It may already have a step down transformer already fitted. But as I have not seen the wiring on the back. I would always be cautious.
