Default Aruze “Oyakata” - No Power

Hi everyone. Newbie here. My in-laws gave me their old Aruze slot machine and an old Pachinko machine. I spent the last two weeks getting the Pachinko machine refurbished and working like new. Now it’s time to work on the Parchislo machine.

The slot machine worked fine up until about a year ago. Now it’s completely dead. I confirm power is being passed to the motherboard, but after that I’m lost as to how to troubleshoot. I’m mechincally oriented, but have little skill in the electrical universe. 🤪

I’ll attached photos soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know how fun these things can be. I’d love to get it up and running for my kids to play with.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Well I got lucky and found a connection on the power supply’s circuit board that had come undone. I re-soldered it, put it back together, and everything powered up. I did the hard reset and it worked! I’m excited as I thought I’d have to buy a new/used power supply which I’m sure is hard to find and not cheap. Anyhow, everything seems to be working now.

    Thanks,

    Jeff
