Here are the specs of the wall wart I bought. Mopar, do you agree that this will do the job?

What is that extra power "module" powering? I thought these vintage games were all mechanical with lights added as indicators.
Is this "CIRCUIT" model out of the ordinary, as power goes?

There are a few vintage machines with extra features that need power, but it's not the norm.. The Circuit Racer has the center feature with lights and the tire tulip thingy!!

Yeah, there are a few machines from the 70ís (Kan-Less, Circuit Racer, and Roulette to name a few - Many machines that read ElexRotary) that have electrical components beyond basic lights.

One of the reasons why I wanted the Circuit Racer is because itís a little bit more rare and sought after than your average Pachinko machine.

Here are a couple more pictures I took after cleaning I did last night. The machine is in beautiful shape.

Iíll post a video if I get it going. Transformer is a day or two away from being delivered.

sorry cant make a recommendation other then the transformer i listed above.. once a machine has been modified i don't know what has been done.. if it were mine i would undo the mod and return it to original state.. that being separate power voltage for the lights and feature...

I am not sure this will do the job correctly, 0.5 A is a bit light. 2 bulbs ( depending on the current draw) will use most of that. Does not leave a lot for the control circuit.
Also using a DC output through the bridge rectifier, your will lose close to 3 volts.

I thought that .5 amp was low. But the data you listed stated that it worked for a Powerflash. I have a Powerflash with the same part # as the one Mopar listed. At 2 amps...it fires the solenoids on a Powerflash with good force! Since the Circuit machine only uses 1 solenoid to operate i large tire shaped tulip...maybe it will work.

I like the center tap transformer delivering separate voltages to separate circuits. That way, when you have electrical issues...separate circuits make it easier to troubleshoot problems.
That being said...test yours as is. If the solenoid does not function properly...remove the light bulbs. If it works, then maybe you could separate the circuits (return to original) and use a 9 volt battery for the lights...with the proper bulbs.
At this point, I would cycle the tire solenoid quite a bit. Not enough to try to break it, or wear it out... but enough to simulate a really good winning streak! Then feel the wire powering it. If it is warm or hot...you probably need more amps.

I have some good news to share!

My father brought me home a 20V 3.5amp Lenovo computer charger. Right now, Iím powering everything with 20V. There are a few dull lights, but thatís it. Video to come. Solenoids are functioning properly, as are lights.

Light number four on the circuit isnít lighting up at all, and the micro switches on either side of center feature are jackpot killers. (When the ball hits the switch, tire closes and main attraction ends) I thought those were supposed to progress your trip through the lights???

My 24V transformer came in the mail and never worked. Cheap Chinese junk. No power was even getting through to the machine.

I havenít found the courage to dig into the circuit board to check out light number 4. I donít even know if itís replaceable. Has anyone been successful fixing those?

Otherwise, the machine is running smoothly, and Iím super excited to own one of these pretty Circuitís.

Lights may be replaceable, but the light that isnít working (#4) works in slots 1-3 and 5....so something is up. The bulbs are all fine....Has anyone ever had this issue? I cleaned the contacts for the light, and even scraped a little of the prongs with an exacto knife...no luck.

Have you tried other working bulbs in #4? You may need to trace the bulb contacts back checking continuity.

The Circuit board may have a bad solder run so break out the magnifier and look closely maybe a cold solder joint (dull instead of shiny silver)
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS
