    Default Best modern Sankyo games

Hey everybody, Iíve been thinking about buying one of those new Sankyo models (2015-2019) due the vast selection/interchangeability of the cells; also thereís a few cool titles I want for cell swapping such as:

    Bunny & Bunny
    NC-17
    Lady Gaga

Hereís a list of all the cool selections:
    https://www.sankyo-fever.jp/history/list.php?tag=2015

Iíll probably do the most cost effective way of obtaining said machine; buying from Clover Collectables domestically since their prices cannot be beat; and Iíd likely spend much more than $479 or so (shipped) for one then simply import all the cells that I really wanted via yahoo auctions since Cloverís selection is quite limited.

My question is to those who have owned or played the following 3 games; to be honest none of them are ďmy cup of teaĒ but Iím really just interested in the frame; I could always sell the cell it comes with if I donít like it to somebody on here. Please share your thoughts on which of these is your favorite (and your reason behind your pick). I havenít seen any of these anime so that could be part of the problem!

    Gundam 3 last shooting
    Macross Frontiers 2
    Space Battleship Yamato Wave

Well I have Bunny and Bunny, Not had much time to actually play it yet as not put in the cabinet. As to why I got it, well thats a mystery

But I've been looking for a gaga cel, They do appear every now and then. But I'm waiting for the price to drop as most seem to be 10,000 yen or more amd I'm a cheapskate

I have macross frontiers 2, one of my favorites, its has moving screens, lots of moving stuff, machine even shakes. The joystick is okay, nothing special.

Out of my 12 games set up, I play MF2 the most
2016 Superman Limit/Blast 2016 Majestic Prince 2015 Macross Frontier 2 2015 Castlevania 2013 Boihazard 2010 Superman Returns 2010 Jurassic Park Max 2 2009 Enter The Matrix 2009 Star Wars 2 Light 2008 Hyper Sea Story plus 12 others

Thanks for the input, yeah, Iím starting to lean more toward this one. The three screens is somewhat unique, itís the cheapest, and offers more cleavage than the other two machines judging by the videos Iíve seen.

Macross Frontier 2 1/77 can go berserk. 20k ball payout potential. However, if a decent offer comes along, heed this following advice carefully......

Symphogear, Symphogear, Symphogear, ALL THE SYMPHOGEAR!

Will keep that in mind. That ones still very pricey though; will have to wait it out till prices come down!

It’s pricey because of the popularity of the machine. It’s still on the top 10 despite being over 2 years old

The good folks at Clover Collectables took time to personally deliver my new Macross Frontier (Iím 2.5 hours away); talk about top notch customer service! No waiting around on the UPS or FedEx guy to show up with a beat up box! Many thanks to Frank and Alex at Clover!

Also got a Lady Gaga cell and Bunny & Bunny cell from Japan.

Lady Gaga is the winner among these 3 machines; itís amazing! Very cool projection screen effects. Youíll find yourself dancing to the beat if you play it long enough and getting Lady Gaga songs stuck in your head for DAYS however. Macross Frontier 2 surprised me though I like it a lot more than I though I would (Iím not very familiar with the franchise). Bunny & Bunny is cool, love the roulette wheel and digihane gameplay aspect, but it ainít Lady Gaga cool! Iíll have to post full reviews once Iíve had more time to play all 3.

Just don't have the volume up loud when you hit the chance button on Bunny & Bunny

OMG that Bunny & Bunny is ridiculously loud on volume level 1! Max volume would result in hearing loss!

Macross Frontier 2 also ridiculously loud on level 1, at least that one has some volume controls installed on the cell since I bought from Clover; but they are terrible; they function like an on/off switch. Probably need replaced.

Lady Gaga is the Goldilocks among the 3 machines; level 1 is loud, not annoyingly so though, and listening to the music loudly is a big part of the experience/appeal of this fabulous machine. Step up to level 2 volume and you are rocking the house though! Anything higher than 2 is deafening.

Iíve already fiddled with the little knob on the back of each cell to find lowest possible volume levels. Sankyo needs to be more like Heiwa that lets you turn the volume WAY down or completely off!

Thatís my biggest complaint about this frame and all the cells. Also Lady Gaga has a loud fan to cool the projector; sounds like someone is constantly vacuuming in the next room... Youíll never notice during playing though due to the rocking sound system on this bad girl however!

I nearly bought a Gaga but the fan noise is really annoying. I bought my Avengers instead as it’s dead quiet when idle. Might still end up with a Gaga though - I liked the machine otherwise.

The Michael Jackson machine is better in my opinion. It still has the projected and everything. However, as we stated before, symphogear is probably one of the most fun of the Sankyo machines to play.

Yeah, Iíve been thinking about that one, Thriller used to be my favorite song as a kid. However MJ is now forever tainted with being accused as creepy pedophile, suffering from scary looking botched plastic surgeries, while Lady Gaga doesnít suffer from such a dubious reputation!

Iím gonna keep my eyes on the prices of those however.

Symphogear is still over 50,000 yen for just a cell; plus shipping. Too rich for me! They need to come up with a Symphogear 2 or something to reduce popularity/secondhand prices!

If I could ask, where do you order single cells from?

I bought both Lady Gaga and Bunny & Bunny from a vendor called ďTharts_factoryĒ via Yahoo auctions (with FromJapan doing my proxy bidding and shipping them to the US). Both were selling for 10,000 yen ($91). That vendor always has a good selection of newer model cells at decent prices; Iíve bought several from them over the past couple of years. They still have some of both in stock it appears!
