Default How much to ship a machine

How much would it be to ship a pachinko machine? I’m looking at having one shipped to me from St. Louis. What are the best ways, and how much has it run you guys??

i usually budget 120 to 150 for a pack and ship..

if you can find a good box and do it yourself then you can save some money.. but be aware if there is a claim they will probably find fault in the packing..

also be aware size of the total box size is way more important then the weight.. (were talking Vintage machines hear) pack it in a box to big and your freight rate will jump to stupid numbers

I've had machines shipped to me through the post office with an actual rate of about 32 bucks.

I would love to know how the heck they managed to get it that cheap.

Cheapest way we have been shipping machines is through UPS which is about $70-85. Though depends on box size as the machines ship dimensional weight not actual weight.

If you want to see how we suggest packing machines here are some instructions written by member CarlW and revised by myself.

That I couldn't tell you, but that was the rate I was charged and it had the post office sticker with price on the box.

Box was one-ply corrugated, just large enough to enclose the pachinko...

I now ship all of my machines via FedEx. I have sourced double walled cardboard boxes locally that are 36" x 24" x 12". I wrap the machine in large bubble wrap and foam.
I live on the East Coast and it costs about $100-$120 to ship to West Coast. That is for their 4 day service.
I recently had a customer ship me a machine from Texas. She went to FedEx and they did a pretty nice job of boxing it for her. Don't know what she paid for that service.
Be aware of UPS Stores. They are franchises and the owner can pretty much charge whatever they want for packaging. I've heard some outrages quotes from my customers.
