    Default Payoff / jackpot

Hi everyone I'm new to the pachinko scene and would like to get one for my comicbook/TCG store. The only problem in the state I live in you can only win up to 10x what you "bet" even for bonafide entertainment purposes. So my question is can you modify pachinko machines to only pay off 10 balls per jackpot? The only machines I can find pay off 15 balls which would make the machine illegal in my state. I do not plan on giving prizes or anything like that out for the balls i just think it would make my shop stand out especially with the engraved balls (collectable). I do plan on giving the balls out for tournaments and extras when people buy certain things.

Which generation of machines do you have in mind? Contemporary, early modern, or the vintage 1970's imports?

there balls not coins... if you don't charge to play and don't offer prizes or a reward for winnings then i cant see a problem.. (other then stolen balls)

its my understanding that a displayed slot machine is legal so long as the player is using house monies and does not keep winnings..

I'm not a lawyer nor do i play one on tv, and I'm not from Texas nor familiar with its laws..

    and of course

Keep an eye out for one labeled "ALL 10". It will have a 10 ball payout. Usually have extra plastic label at the top of the frame.

A Pachinko Machine has been imported to the U.S. Of America since the 1970's by Sears, J.C.Penny, Toys R Us, Montgomery Wards ,etc

And is a Toy considered here as long as No Monetary amount is placed on the steel balls and no prizes are awarded for playing the machine .
