Default First cabinet hung on the wall

Well I haven't finished the drywall but I just couldn't wait to hang this.

Used a couple of French cleats screwed into the studs.

Biting my nails hoping it stays put. That thing is HEAVY.

Here it is open with the cleats. Hasn't fallen off the wall yet!

You're into the studs so you should be good.

I don't know if it's necessary but I think I might add a cleat underneath it. You wouldn't be able to see it. Maybe it would help distribute the weight?

I want to make one with a cleat. Can you show us how you attached the frame to itself and to the pachinko?

I've got a thread with some photos. Let me find it. I used kregg pocket screws and wood glue.

Here you go: http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...chinko-cabinet I didn't take any pics of how the pachinko is held in the cabinet, but it's just three corner brackets I got from Lowes. One on each side and one at the bottom. Mostly gravity does all the work. The brackets just keep it from wobbling.

I'm currently building another just like it for my Nishijin Model B.

    Nice!
I just made & put up my first cabinet, too, though mine is much more basic than yours:

There was an alcove in my office lounge that it fit perfectly, so now my people can play a little Pachi!
