Default Omedeta Brothers found a new home

    Hello everyone,

I am the proud owner of an "Omedeta brothers" (オメデタブラザーズ) pachinko machine. My first one !
I initially thought it was an "early modern" but it seems this model was from 1993 which is, I suppose, outside of the "early modern" range

I'm currently in the process of cleaning it, unmounting one piece at a time to have a better grasp of the utility of each component. It initially had some hiccups but cleaning seems to help. It took me some time to figure how to open the glass door and the 1st tray but I'm motivated
Now, I'm trying to figure if the noise it is constantly making (like a rotating motor bumping into something) is normal or not
Still need to buy a bit more balls as I only have around 100 and feels it is not enough for a fully enjoyable play. Finding a ball provider seems far more complex in Europe (France) as it is in the US

I'll share my progress, if it can help fellow newbies who acquire this type of machine. Obviously in the meantime, any advice is fully welcomed !

    Pachinkly yours

I would still classify this as early modern. It's basically a Nishijin 'C' with some electronics added.

Also it's a cash machine, meaning no ball loan buttons.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

My first machine was in that frame also, have fun, it best to have 1500 to 2000 balls, DragonFly Amusement is in Europe, don't be shocked if one machine becomes three machines soon

Cool hanemono machine! The grinding motor noise is normal on these. I’ve got the “Hungry hippo” in the same frame and also a Rhapsody kenrimono style machine that both have noisy motors but work fine. You won’t notice it much while playing it.

Thanks for the insights ... that will help me not spending hours trying to solve a non issue
Now, on the quest to find some p-balls that does not cost more than the machine (reading the forum, I get it is a tough quest ... )

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome !
