Default here's my neglected pinball, PREMIER "ROCK"

An early 1980's machine I think, I just found these old pics in my computer and figgered I could go ahead and show 'em here...??

It is a PREMIER (Gottlieb?) "ROCK" machine. Currently languishing in my storage it remains on my 'to-do' list for future work to clean it up and restore it to functionality, it is otherwise still intact/complete 'as-found'. (and yes, I have its legs) It was recovered years ago from 'poor storage' in a barn (along with my jukebox) but thankfully seems to have survived that OK, (again like my jukebox) a little dirty/rusty around its fringes and now needing some replacement 'rubbers', but I've always thought certainly 'fixable' if only I had the time/motivation to do it. (and/or space to put it afterward if I did, or whatever...?? <lol>

And that's about all I know about it. Any of y'all pinball experts than might be able to offer more info, **please** speak up??!!

New rubbers, new ball. Clean playfield with Novus 1 then wax it with pure carnuba. Order parts from Pinball Life. Check for battery damage. Pull white paper through contacts to clean them. Read about restoration on Pinside. Enjoy!

THANKS so much browne92 for that -- I'd actually discovered that database page already, but your pointing it out again prompted me to look a little further at it then ultimately order up a manual (and parts catalog) from THE PINBALL RESOURCE. [www.pbresource.com] Both actually arrived in my mailbox just yesterday, so now I've apparently got some studying to do, then some 'unburying' in my storage closet... It also seems likely I'll be able to get any needed bits and parts necessary to get my ROCK playing again from them, maybe even 'good advice' should I need that...?

pinside.com will have all the info you need.
marco specialties is another good parts supplier.
Its a solid state Gottlieb System 80 machine and chances are there are multiple issues with the electronics and more will crop up so there’s checklists of things to do before powering it up. Fortunately there’s tons of info out there.
