okay well the error codes above should be applicable to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings (I have no idea what Okumura error codes are, someone will probably chime in)

so #7 = out of balls or cut off

Also I don't know how many pachinko balls you are using, is the top hopper full, so either you haven't enough in the back hopper, or you've flipped the ball cut off to prevent the balls travelling down the back, or you have a blockage (but I find it really odd that you would have the exact same blockage on all your machines, so i would go with the fact you may have flipped the ball cut off thing) Here's the pics (all these pics I post are actually in that Star Wars manual I posted the link to in a previous post above, so you can see a lot more pics of things in it too)

    star wars ball stop.JPG

Now I will say that you may find a lot of balls will start paying out suddenly and you will have to keep filling the hopper until it stops, this is because the machine will be trying to catch up on all the winnings you didn't get before,

    hopefully this resolves the issues,

The first sounds normal. Balls are meant to go in to the top tray on the front. They only go to the bottom when the top is full.

The other. If balls are falling out the back. It means the ball dump is open and needs to be set to closed. As to the position. Sorry I don't know, but I think is a white butterfly on the payout assembly cover.

The ball dump location on the star wars is also in the manual i linked previously

    link again here :
    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/local_links.php?catid=6&linkid=1546

if you scroll down the manual and look at the photos, somewhere around page 8, it shows what the ball dump lever looks like

Sorry I've never had to dismantle any of my machines, so no idea

but I think Lord of the Rings is in the Sankyo Victory Frame

so here's the frame manual (thanks to Daverob) and you could have a look through and it might help

As the frame manual that Hanabi posted shows; first you need to figure out how to dump all the balls out by that switch.

Once that has been done; put them back in the top hopper and check if payouts are working. If not; you’ll need to remove the payout motor assembly, take it apart, and check for obstructions. Having a Daverob dongle can be helpful troubleshooting payout issues since you can force the machine to try to payout balls via the ball loan buttons on the front. My bet is there is something (screw, oversized ball, dust bunny, dead bug) somewhere in the payout motor assembly or the chutes that feed it. Or the payout motor isn’t working for some reason. Or the chutes could be so filthy and sticky with built up crud the balls can’t flow freely in the payout motor assembly.

I did take out the payout unit and put balls through manually and the balls were not falling out they were staying in there so tool them out again

Did you find the ball dump switch and dump all the balls yet?

Can you manually turn the payout motor “wheel”/“gear” with your finger to manually dispense balls? If not; you need to take that unit apart.

Who did you buy it from? Maybe it’s cyclitic modded? Do spent/wasted balls fall out behind the machine or roll back to the front reward tray? Sometimes they remove/disable payouts for those so you can play with fewer balls and no reloading the machine. Not sure, all mine are standard parlor spec machines.

I’d get a Daverob dongle and see if you can get it to dispense balls with that.
