Default Video Pachinko - What are these

Have seen a couple of these now out on YouTube, what are they?
Some sort of 16-bit nightmare from the Nintendo factory outlet?

Is this some console game or what?

Lol, it’s a 2003 era modern pachinko! I’ve got that exact model! Have you been under a rock the past 30+ years?! Haha, now most all of them have LCD screens; even hanemonos! Like it or lump it; the video screens have taken over! (P.S. it’s not a bad thing! )

To answer more specifically, it’s CR Leave it to Relay. 2004 (to correct previous post)

    See thread for additional details!

It’s about a grumpy, lazy cop and a goofy mischievous street sweeper who aggravates him. Love it! Great skill based gameplay and cool functioning center feature. Also quite funny. I play it way more than my 70s vintage machines...

If you are looking for a video game like pachinko, I highly recommend the Biohazard machine. If you ever liked playing Resident Evil back in the day you’ll love it! Lots of video game like aspects to it where you get to “shoot” the zombies and what not and it’s got a touchpad to control all sorts of things. I WISH there was a Nintendo themed pachinko!

Well welcome to the modern section! For an OG pachinko purist, there’s still plenty of machines that are more skill based than video screens and crazy animatronics. Areddin, Tenryu Infinity, Shakarina, and Tokio Deluxe all come to mind.

I love how Tenryu Infinity refuses to be photographed properly.
    WANTED: 10¥ games, pre-1950s machines, スマートボール (Smart Ball), payazzo/kronespill, Pickwick-style (~1905)
if you have any of these in North America, let's talk.

Back to the original one, it's all video generated.
Are there frames with just a screen like the old arcade machines?
    Everything driven in software?

I've watched a video of the AREDDIN and it's on my list to emulate...
Have been trying to do digital representations of gravity driven events
used in the main attractions. Features to slow the ball, direct it to a path
    or toggle selectors, etc.

Building up a catalog of parts, refining along the way.
Coming here opened up a whole new set of ball games...
    Arrange Ball - Challenge
So many of the modern (and early modern)
Battle Counters (balancing the pocket hits)

Compirate says it best in that link to the post about the original machine when I got it a couple years ago, there’s quite a few variables. The animations on the screen react immediately to every scoring ball in the lower “1” and “2” pockets. This agitates the cop. If one is skilled enough to get a ball past the moving “arms” that are activated by #1 and #2 pockets and is lucky enough not to have their ball get swept away by the broom or fall in the wrong hole of the spinning wheel of fortune, the fever round will happen and the payout of 10 balls per round (each round has a maximum of 10 winning balls making it past the moving arms) of either 2, 7, or 16 rounds depending how lucky one is.
